Ways to avoid “Natsu-bate” (summer fatigue)

   “Natsu-bate” is a physical disorder with symptoms such as lassitude, lack of appetite caused by lack of vitamins, minerals and protein, poor sleep, and disorder of autonomic nerves by air conditioning in summer.

Here are some ways to prevent Natsu-bate.

1. Have hot foods and drinks.
   (Anything cold leads to the depression of the workings of your stomach.)
2. Have balanced meals including many kinds of vegetables.
3. Drink plenty of liquid.
   (You might suffer from dehydration unless you drink.)
4. Use air conditioning effectively.
   (Adjust your body temperature by turning up the temperature of the air conditioner or put on a jacket.)
5. Sweat from doing light exercise or taking a bath.
   (Walking for 20-30 minutes after sunset would be great.)
6. Soak in a bathtub.
   (Soaking in lukewarm water for about 20 minutes would be best.)

*Avoiding Natsu-bate is possible with a little care.
