Ringo-gari (Apple picking)

   There are only a few farmers who grow apples in Kochi. Our climate is a little too warm for apple growing. But in Sakawa Town and Tosa Town, nonetheless, some farmers cultivate apples. Let me introduce to you one farm from each town above that offers you such a service.


Kokuzozan Kankonoen Fruits Land (Sakawa Town)
Picking season: Mid September to early October
Fee (all you can eat): 700yen (12 years and over), 450yen (Elementary School Students), 350yen (5 & 6 years)
Access: About 8 minutes by car from Togano Sta. on JR Dosan Line

Kohan Ringoen (Tosa Town)
Picking season: August 20 to late November
Fee (all you can eat): 600yen (12 years and over), 400yen (Elementary School Students), 300yen (3 to 6 years)
Take out: 600yen per kg
Access: About 40 minutes by car from Osugi stop on JR Dosan Line
