Kochi SGG Club

Kochi Castle
Kochi SGG (Systematized Goodwill Guide) Club is a voluntary organization with a mission to promote international friendship through free guide services offered to foreigners.

They offer free guided tours of Kochi Castle every Sunday from 9am-3:30pm without appointment. They also offer guided tours of Kochi Castle on other days, as well as Katsurahama Beach, Chikurinji Temple and other sightseeing spots within Kochi Prefecture by appointment booked at least two-weeks in advance.

Application forms can be found on their website and faxed or sent directly through the website. The tours are free, but they ask that you pay for the guide’s admission fees, travel costs, and meals if necessary.

Besides this, the Kochi SGG Club holds an annual bus tour, where foreign participants and SGG members visit different parts of Kochi each year. The bus tour includes an informative tour around that local Kochi area, a delicious lunch, and plenty of fun and entertainment. You will not be disappointed!

SGG offers services in English, Chinese and Korean.
